The Organisers invite the public to take part in Act For Change. The aim is to engage and empower communities to host social impact events across Africa.
To join, participants are required to sign up on the campaign website (“the Website”). Participants who wish to host their own event will have to organise a team and identify a community space (for example, a beach, river, park, etc.), as well as a date and time for the event. Alternatively, participants will be afforded an opportunity to join an existing event hosted by representatives of the Shoprite Group at select locations on a select date.
Any participant under the age of 18 years must be fully assisted by his/her guardian, who approves of and consents to the participant’s participation in the campaign.
Conditions of Participation
Participation in the campaign constitutes acceptance of these Terms and participants accordingly agree to abide by these Terms, as well as the general terms and conditions applicable to the Organisers, from time to time.
No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups, or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions.
The Organisers shall have the right to change or terminate the campaign immediately and without notice, if deemed necessary in its opinion and/or if circumstances arise outside of their control. In the event of such change or termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they have in respect of this campaign and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers or its agents.
